Has Brandon Marshall officially become the Ron Artest of the NFL, in that even when he stays out of trouble for a year or two, there’s still something unsettling about that look in his eyes? I mean, given that he’s definitely facing a suspension in ‘09, he’s wayyyy down on everyone’s cheat sheet this season, but what if he keeps the crazy under wraps for the rest of the season and has some monster games? Will you trust him enough to make him your WR1 in 2010?
(As an aside, given that my co-blogger Brandon’s last name is also Marshall, I love the way this guy’s career is heading. Keep it coming, man. May Plaxico be your guide.)

Brandon Marshall’s descent in the public eye to a football playing thug has led me to completely disregard him for fantasy consideration at WR 1next year. His talent is scary and if he ends up hurting me this season in fantasy football it wouldn’t surprise me but I would not count on him to do so week in and week out. That being said his fall from the cheat sheets has to entice anyone at a WR 2 or WR 3 position. Week to week his status will always be uncertain. On a similar note, there’s this website that’s slated to Beta launch on July 1 called Myfantasyplayers.com. You can upload your fantasy football roster(s) to this site and it provides real-time news updates and advising for all the players on your own roster. It comes from the fantasy owners with your own fantasy team’s players, the like-minded people who know and follow the players that you care so much about.
