What a weekend for the Patriots!
Honestly, could things have worked out any better for the Patriots this weekend? First of all, they win their own game against a tough Jacksonville team, but then the Colts lose to the Chargers! The even better part about that is that the Colts didn't go down without a fight. In fact, they injured Philip Rivers and LaDainian Tomlinson. If these two guys are still hampered by injury this coming weekend, I have to predict a similar outcome to the week 2 matchup when the Patriots put a hurting on the Chargers, 38-14.
Finally, just to cap things off, a tough Dallas squad lost to the Eli Manning's of New York...and then Terrell Owens started crying in a press conference (hard to say it, but do I almost feel bad for T.O.?) I'm pulling for a Patriots versus Packers Superbowl, as it would be great to see a battle of two of the best quarterbacks of all time. Plus, for some reason the Packers scare me a little less than the Giants. Anyways, two more games to win and the Patriots get to the amazing 19-0 mark! Let's all cross our fingers.
On one final note, did anyone notice in the Colts game when they were announcing the winners of the Punt, Pass and Kick competition? The girl who won for the 15 year old age group was wearing a Patriots jersey and when they announced her name you could hear booing from the crowd. I just found that slightly amusing.
