Here is the fantasy football “Team of the Week” for week nine, listing the players that scored the most points (using standard scoring) over the course of Sunday’s games. Overall, it was the big names that put up big numbers this week, but we had a few wildcards. Greg Olsen finally made an appearance this week with his three touchdowns, but it was the Tampa Bay defense that was the biggest surprise. You have to feel bad for Packers fans at this point, after losing to Favre twice and giving the Bucs their first win of the season…

Early thoughts on Chris Chambers? Is he really a threat to Bowe’s fantasy value? They pretty much had the same numbers except for (ahem) 2 TDs…

I don’t think he’s a direct threat to Bowe and if anything, should help him by taking some of the defense’s focus off him. Chambers did great this past weekend, but like Braylon Edwards in New York, he could put up a few stinkers once defenses have a little game tape to look at. As I mention in The Wire this week though, keep an eye on him and see if Matt Cassel takes a liking to him.
