Here is the fantasy football “Team of the Week,” listing the players that scored the most points (using standard scoring) over the course of Sunday’s games. This week you’ll notice a few oddities about the list, the first being the existence of two quarterbacks, both who kicked some serious behind and who couldn’t be left off the list. The second is the existence of Jerome Harrison, who rushed for an insane 286 yards (the third highest single game rushing total of all time!) Anyways, with the Monday Night Football game yet to take place (New York Giants @ Washington Redskins) this list may be a bit premature, but here is your team of the week nonetheless…

By the way, anyone else find it interesting that A) the Browns scored 41 points AND B) that Brady Quinn threw for just 66 yards when the Browns scored 41 points? I guess it helps when you have Joshua Cribbs scoring 14 points on his own.

Also, how did Andre Johnson catch nine passes for 196 yards and NOT score at least one touchdown?!

Cribbs for 14 points? Ha! I had him on the bench in a return yard league. Goodbye 26 points
As it stands I have a 5 point buffer in that league with Nicks remaining. My opponent has Fred Davis. Let’s just say I’m not comfortable with the 5 point lead.
Another league sees me down by 4 with Tynes left so i should pull that one off. Even with those two wins I’ll still only be 4-3 this week
It was a bad week to have my top players all flop. Let’s just say that a team with DeAngelo Williams and Michael turner was about equal to a week 15 loss…
Hope you guys did well! Great call on Cribbs!

I gave away my spot in the Championship game by failing to start Steve Smith. *waves goodbye to 2009 season*
Makes for a ridiculously depressing Monday.

In my league, I started Steve Smith (and still have Fred Davis left), but that’s not enough when you start the Sunday night game down over 60 points!

Ouch… The $$$ would have come in extremely handy…
Side note: I am in the leader of my league is most points left on the bench (i.e. “The Worst GM”).

The only real points I left on the bench were Mike Wallace and Joe Flacco (I started Schaub), so I can’t really complain. Reggie Bush (my flex spot) getting hurt after a long run was pretty annoying though!

Having Fred Davis while being down 60 points is better than having Lawrence Tynes in the same scenario
Anybody else play against an inordinate amount of teams with Rodgers and/or Manning this week?
In Rapdidraft I had to choose between Henderson, Coles and Wallace. I chose Henderson. I suck.

I made some bad mistakes… started Arian Foster over Bradshaw and Harrison and Cutler over Matt Moore, still going to win though (down 1 point with Devin Thomas, Quinton Ganther, and Fred Davis going tonight, he doesn’t have anyone)

That’s a lot of eggs in the Washington Redskins basket…but I think they can manage between 1 and 2 points between those three guys, hah

We can hope, lol
