Besides the Adrian Peterson Show and Superbowl 41.5, the defensive/special teams touchdown run-back also took center stage this weekend. San Diego’s Antonio Cromartie set the record for the longest play in NFL history when he returned a missed field goal for an 109 yard touchdown.

Of course there was also a 94-yard punt return by Nate Burleson for the Seahawks, 100 yard kick off returns by Glenn Holt of the Bengals and Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jaguars, as well as a 94-yard kick off return by Leon Washington of the Jets. It wasn’t all kick returns that got the headlines though. Defensive players returned interceptions and fumbles for touchdowns, including DeWayne White (DET), Charles Woodson (GB), and Mike McKenzie (NO). However, of all of these touchdowns, none was more amusing than watching Detroit’s big man, defensive end Shaun Rogers, rumble his way for a 66-yard score…
