A committee rises in the Meadowlands?

Well, maybe not just yet, but Leon Washington sure is getting some friendly press lately, and it's making me reconsider Thomas Jones's spot on my cheat sheet. Sez Newsday:

By the end of the season, Jones will likely be the Jet who has the most carries and the most yards. But the division of labor is likely to be more balanced than some are predicting.

Keep that in mind if you're thinking of Jones as a quality #2 back - while Leon's a little undersized, he's healthy, fast - and four years younger than Jones. I'm knocking Jones down a notch or two, and taking a closer look at Washington as a mid-to-late-round sleeper, in case Jones tweaks his hammy again.

Don't draft JaMarcus Russell

No shit, right? He plays (correction: MIGHT play) for the Oakland tap-dancing Raiders and his #1 option will be Jerry Porter, for chrissakes. Well, tell that to this guy and this guy and these guys, all of whom recommend you take a shot on him late in the draft even in non-keeper leagues. Let's ponder this for a moment.

Running Back Musical Chairs

If you've started looking over the cheat sheets (ours or your own) and come to the running backs sheet, you might not notice anything strange until you look to the
backs that would probably go after the first round. That's when you start noticing that there's going to be a ton of new faces on new teams this year. Below, I've
broken down the players that changed teams and the new rookies running backs as well, to let you know how important the player will be on their new team and what it means to you as a manager.

Players with New Homes

-Travis Henry (TEN to DEN): One of the most important player moves of the offseason (barring maybe Randy Moss), Henry will look to take the starting spot at running
back for a run-crazy Denver offense. Don't be surprised to see Henry taken in the early second round.

Let's have a look at the Raiders running backs!

And while we're at it, let's stab ourselves repeatedly in the cornea! Sadly, though, fantasy managers don't have a choice; when the #1 RB on any team, even the Raiders, has back problems that are bad enough for the coaching staff to start singing the praises of a backup named Adimchinobe Echemandu, we're forced to pay attention. If Jordan is still hurt to start the season, the Raiders are in a pretty significant bind; backup Dominic Rhodes will start the season on a 4-game suspension. This would essentially transform two guys who normally wouldn't show up on draft day into potential late-round, 5th-RB options, depending on how strong your sense of smell is:
