For those of you struggling at the running back position (or those of you who have Jamal Lewis on your roster,) you might consider picking up Chris Jennings, who could very well be the new starting running back for the Cleveland Browns. Apparently Jamal Lewis suffered a concussion in last weeks game and could be calling it quits for the season (and therefor his career, since he mentioned he would retire after this season.) While Jerome Harrison was backing up Lewis early in the season, it’s been Jennings that has spelled Lewis recently and should be the first in line to get additional carries. This weekend the Browns play a San Diego team that while better recently, hasn’t been the greatest the league has to offer in terms of stopping the run, so Chris Jennings could be a possible RB2 or flex candidate.

Would you start Ricky Williams or Ray Rice this week?
Brandon 8:28 pm on 12/02/2009 Permalink |
Wow, you can’t start them both? I’d go with Ricky Williams though, since he’s the Dolphins best weapon around the goalline. For the Ravens, against a tough Packers defense, you don’t know if they’ll stick in Willis McGahee to poach a touchdown.

Would you drop Kevin Smith for Chris Jennings? Gawd, that’s like trading a migraine for a hangover.
Brandon 8:29 pm on 12/02/2009 Permalink |
I would stick with Smith. Jennings is untested and could end up being just as ineffective as Lewis was.

Alright i have 5 receivers and need to start two.
MSW
Donald Driver
Burleson
Crabtree
Steve Smith (Panthers)
I know who i want to go with, i’m just looking for a second opinion and some reassurences.

I like your top two guys there, Sims-Walker and Driver. Steve Smith is too risky at this point and Burleson/Crabtree don’t have as much potential this week.

RB2- Would you start Jerious Norwood, Chris Brown or Chris Jennings?
Thanks

I’d take a shot on Jennings since he’s looked good when given an opportunity.

Just keep an eye out on Jennings health. I read that he’s nursing a shoulder injury, so you want to make sure he’s playing before putting him into your line-up.
