This week, it'll be the Giants resting their guys. They'd be fools to play Jacobs this week with a banged up ankle. Say hello to 16-0.

Let's hope Brady doesn't reduce his last week's production by 20%...or there'll be some even angrier fantasy managers.

I agree with Matt regarding the Patriots. I don't see the Patriots playing much beyond halftime the next two weeks if the games are well in hand by the third quarter. I would guess that owners of Patriots should reduce the expected production from your Patriots by about 20%.

Michael - normally I'd agree with you, but they're playing the Dolphins. In Foxborough. I just can't see them playing the starters after halftime if they're up by three or more touchdowns.

I actually believe Bill Belichick. The Pats have so much at stake -- a perfect regular season, touchdown records, etc. -- to sit these guys. They play well into the second half. I also think it is a mistake to bench players in these games at the end of the year to "rest" them for the playoffs. That did not work out too well for the 2005 Colts, as I remember. I think the best way to keep these guys sharp is to keep them in the action. They can rest during the bye week.

As a Patriots fan, I'll be VERY pissed off if the Patriots sit any of their starters if there's even the slightest chance they could lose a game. If they are clearly going to win, then by all means, sit everyone...but until that point, I don't want to see Brady's ass touching that bench.
