I don't see the Patriots playing much beyond halftime the next two weeks if the games are well in hand by the third quarter. The Pats have so much at stake -- a perfect regular season, touchdown records, etc. -- to sit these guys. They play well into the second half. I also think it is a mistake to bench players in these games at the end of the year to "rest" them for the playoffs. That did not work out too well for the 2005 Colts, as I remember. I think the best way to keep these guys sharp is to keep them in the action. They can rest during the bye week. I actually believe Bill Belichick.
