Good gravy, the Saints suck

Tonight's game has been my first opportunity to witness the 2007 edition of the New Orleans Saints, and it's quite a sight to behold. Drew Brees has led his team to a grand total of one first down so far. The defense might as well not even be on the field (OK, so as I'm typing this they just picked off Vince Young). I'm hearing some long "O" sounds from the crowd, and they're not saying "Deuce" this time. Just think about how bad the Saints have to be playing for New Orleans fans to boo them.

Granted, the Titans are pretty good, and Fisher's a top-notch coach who's smart enough to take advantage of a reeling, frustrated football team, but this has been a slaughter so far. It shouldn't be this easy to decimate a team that almost made it to the Superbowl last season.

I hate to say it, but I feel like I'm watching my Bills right now.

I think I made some comment about the Saints if they played bad again this week to the Titans? Was it something about trading Brees for Jay Cutler or Eli Manning or something? I would strongly consider such a trade at this point.

I have Brees and Bush on my money league team. I don't think I've ever been so vulgar in my life as I have been on the 2 times I've watched the Saints this season (tonite and the opening game vs. the colts). I have put Brees up for trade in my league and I've got Bulger up on the trading block too (we start 2 QBs bc it's only a 7 team league). Bulger and Losman (my back up) both scored negative points for me this week and Brees has 1.5 in the 4th quarter...I wasted 2hrs of sleep on that bum. Anyone else feeling the Brees pain?

I thought I made the best decision of the draft when I drafted both Brees and Colston .. enough said

Playoff leagues: Keeping the fantasy football season alive to the bitter end:
- frank m: I'm playing at ESPN. I'm also doing weekly tournaments at www.papersports.com.
- ffexchange: I've done my own for a while where we set a lineup each week and you can play anyone, but can only play them once. One third fantasy, one third survivor style pool, and one third guessing the games. Its not the same as the real thing, but going cold turkey isn't easy.
