About the Geeks

Brandon and Matt are arguably the two biggest fantasy geeks among a crew of nearly-as-obsessed individuals, all of whom got to know each other in Phi Kappa Tau at Rochester Institute of Technology. Currently, the same core group of six or seven fanatical nerds are in three PKT-branded fantasy football leagues: The prestigious "League of Champions," a keeper league, and the "B-league," which exists for the purpose of recruiting young Phi Tau members to the dark side. Even this isn't enough for Brandon and Matt, so they started this blog, where they get to call themselves experts (if Funston can do it...).

Brandon devoted part of his life to fantasy sports back in 2002 and since then has been a lot less productive in "real-life" activities. While he has won the occasional league here and there, he decided it was time to turn his addiction into something somewhat productive (and at the same time try to make other people that much more un-productive).

Matt's pretty much hopelessly obsessed with fantasy football, especially since he emerged victorious from the League of Champions in 2006. He's got a minor problem with making ill-advised blockbuster trades, which stems from that fact that he just thinks way, way too hard about things sometimes. He's working on that.
